This Spring Break we took the kids to Hanging Rock, and thank goodness kept it short & sweet. One or two days of camping is all you need - it's best to rough it in small doses. It was nice to have a day or two off so I just took random snapshots- no fancy photography here:)
|Gangsta- that's how we roll|
The Evenings were so peaceful the dogs curled up to sleep and we roasted strawberry marshmallows and ate smores until we were full. Some dogs found marshmallows on the ground, ate them and then threw up all over me- ewww.

Last night a rainstorm came through and I thought we would blow clear through the Appalachians. I was glad it came in late because Koy & I were able to lay out under the stars for a long time, it was the most relaxing thing I've done all year.
|Note to self- next camping trip- bring makeup.|
One of the happiest parts of the trip was being able to see Magick swim. He always has a creek available to play in but has only been able to swim a few times in his life.
We Walked and Hiked close to ten miles over the two days it was beautiful & exhausting- and a serious reminder that all this slacking on my workout routine is really catching up with me.
WOW- a Payphone!!!
It was a little cold but we still enjoyed the best part of Hanging Rock- playing in the waterfalls a bit.
It was fun but I'm glad to be back and were already planing the next camping trip.
